OUR OBJECTIVES IN THE MPEM & DJIM NATIONAL PARK PROJECT


RESEARCH


- To raise awareness among these populations through a video projected sensitization campaign in six villages bordering this park (Sérere, Linté, Kamkata, Djim-Massambe, Jérusalem, Yangba, Mindou-Mindja) with as a communication tool the screening of a documentary film made on the park and its periphery, and a booklet presenting the values of the park distributed.
- We plan to train 02 Common initiative groups (CIGS) in alternative income-generating activities that best suit them.
- To build a borehole in Labo-Ngoro one of the six (06) villages.

PISCCA 2020


The project is funded through PISCCA 2020 Grant (PROJETS DES SOCIETES CIVILES ET COALITIONS D’ACTEURS), funded by the French Embassy.
To ensure project success, the French Embassy team organized a 3days workshop in Yaoundé, bringing together all beneficiaries of PISCCA 2020
The Yaoundé event was crowned by a launching ceremony at the French in Yaoundé with the presence of H.E Christophe Guilhou and other dignitaries.

Ngoro Council


Ngoro council mayor Madame Nango Marcelline recieved the delegation and was pleased with the project ideas, as she went ahead to site other areas of concern where Sekakoh could also assist them when possible.
